HELLO!

I’m an illustrator living in Menlo Park, California.

Over the past fifteen years, I’ve shown oil paintings in coffee shops, drawn sets for Pottery Barn catalogs, drawn coloring books, worked on two ‘shelved’ (unreleased) picture books, sold nursery artwork to the parents of adorable babies, had adorable babies, and illustrated stories for the wonderful Cricket Magazine Group. I am also the illustrator for LitWorld’s World Read Aloud Day. Right now, I’m hard at work illustrating a picture book that will most definitely be released, in Spring ‘25. It is titled, ANOTHER DOG (The Little Fig Press).

People often ask how I work. Contrary to this photo here, I do work digitally. But I sketch as much as I can by hand, too. Working traditionally enhances my skills across the board. In art school (Academy of Art, San Francisco) I trained as an oil painter but unfortunately I was mostly allergic to the materials. Thankfully, as far as I can tell, I am not allergic to the computer. Although sometimes it feels like I might be allergic to social media BUT I'M TRYING!

If you have a project in mind for me, yay! Please reach out.
